We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Estimator to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Sales Estimator who enjoys working closely with customers, interpreting technical information, and delivering accurate quotations in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, helping to secure new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
The Role
The successful Sales Estimator will be responsible for:
Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email, gathering all relevant technical information and specifications. Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings. Analysing labour, material, and production time requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates. Liaising with suppliers to obtain material pricing and raising purchase orders through internal systems. Preparing and submitting quotations using estimating software. Following up submitted quotations and obtaining feedback where opportunities have not been successful. Supporting business growth by developing relationships with existing and prospective customers.
