Contract Multi-Modality Tech Position Position Details: Multi-Modality Tech- Beloit, WI Location: Beloit, WI 53511 Project Duration: 13 weeks Salary Range: $58/hr - $60/hr Shift: Monday - Thursday 9p-7a Job Summary The Multi-Modality Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in Radiography and CT while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and accurate imaging. The technologist is responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, administering contrast media, and supporting departmental operations. Key Responsibilities
Maintain active status in the imaging modalities in which they practice. Perform all exams within assigned modalities competently. Corroborate patient clinical history with the ordered procedure and ensure proper documentation. Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety. Operate imaging equipment and image capture devices to perform diagnostic procedures. Position and immobilize patients as needed while ensuring comfort and safety. Practice aseptic technique when required. Prepare and administer contrast media and maintain intravenous access as appropriate. Initiate Basic Life Support (BLS) when necessary. Provide patient education related to imaging procedures. Assist with inventory control and provide input on supply and equipment needs. Provide practical instruction to students and staff. Follow universal protocols, standard precautions, and patient identification procedures. Assist the department coordinator with clinical leadership, projects, and advanced clinical duties as assigned.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program (education verification required). ARRT Registered in Radiography (R). ARRT Registered in Computed Tomography (CT). Wisconsin DSPS Radiographer License. Current AHA Provider BLS/CPR certification.
