CHI St. Alexius Health is looking for a motivated Rad Tech Intern to join our dynamic Radiology team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside registered technologists and develop your skills in a supportive environment. In this role, you will:
Assist with vital diagnostic procedures: Learn and contribute to X-ray imaging under the guidance of experienced professionals. Prioritize patient & staff safety: Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols, ensuring a secure environment for everyone. Provide compassionate patient care: Help prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout their visit. Contribute to a high-functioning team: Assist with maintaining department equipment standards and support overall operational efficiency. Grow your professional skills: Develop a strong understanding of professional practice standards in a real-world clinical setting.

Must meet school of radiology program competencies for all routine radiographic procedures and specialty work. Certification: Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required. Licensure: Not applicable for enrolled students. Pursuing registry through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
