Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Mammography Technologist, you will perform high-quality mammographic imaging so patients can receive precise diagnostics for early breast cancer detection with comfort and dignity. Your expertise and care directly contribute to healthier outcomes and peace of mind. Every day, you will expertly operate mammography equipment, meticulously position patients for optimal imaging, and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure. You will be expected to perform comprehensive quality control on equipment, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals while strictly adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. To be successful in this role, you must possess current mammography certification, exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor, ensuring accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences. Job RequirementsRequired
Washington State License as a Radiologic Technologist Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology to include mammography Minimum one (1) year experience in Diagnostic Radiology (or two (2) years at VM as a student tech) Twenty-four (24) hours of continuing medical education are required every two (2) years CPR license to be renewed every two (2) years Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology Strong organizational skills A willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field The ability to manage stressful situations appropriately, attend to multiple tasks, work independently and be versatile and flexible High school diploma or GED Preferred
