Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) Location: New York, NY Duration: 9-Week Contract Assignment Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8-Hour Shifts (37.5 Hours/Week) Position Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with radiation safety standards. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely Apply radiation safety principles and shielding techniques Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary Document imaging procedures and patient records accurately Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain radiology supplies and ensure proper workflow efficiency Follow infection control and safety protocols Support continuous quality improvement and training activities Required Qualifications:
Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT required) ARRT Certification required Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a clinical team environment New graduates encouraged to apply
