Job Title: CT / Radiology Technologist Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011 (On-site) Employment Type: Part-time / PRN (On-call assignments required) Salary Range: $47,570 - $61,443 / Year (Base salary estimates; scaling up to $86,000 based on experience and regional metrics) Job Description A leading, diversified healthcare network is seeking a certified and highly skilled CT / Radiology Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic imaging workflows at an acute care medical facility in Las Cruces, NM 88011. This position operates on a Part-time / PRN basis and requires on-call availability. The selected candidate must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving an operational notification. This role is ideal for an imaging professional looking for a fast-paced environment that blends advanced clinical technical skills with exceptional, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Positioning: Prepare, guide, and accurately position patients for complex radiology and CT imaging procedures to ensure precise and high-quality diagnostic results. Contrast Administration: Safely prepare and administer oral and intravenous contrast media and related medications strictly within the defined clinical scope of practice. Equipment Operations: Oversee the daily operation, radiation safety protocols, and rigorous quality control measures of CT scan equipment. Troubleshooting: Monitor imaging systems continuously, identify technical anomalies, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to maintain continuous department uptime.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a closely related medical imaging field. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent, hands-on experience in general radiology/radiography workflows. Primary Certifications: Active certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory. Advanced Modality Status: ARRT CT certification OR verified CT eligibility / provisional status is required. State Licensure: Must possess or be fully eligible for an active New Mexico State License in both Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT). Life Safety Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Logistical Commitment: Absolute ability to fulfill on-call shifts and safely arrive at the onsite facility within a strict 30-minute notification window.
