Administer medication and monitor patient responses according to treatment plans. Conduct safety checks, room inspections, and vital sign assessments multiple times per shift. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide direct observation of patient care. Document patient progress, behaviors, and clinical data accurately in electronic health records. Support team members in crisis management, including de-escalation and restraint procedures. Participate in unit orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of psychiatric care experience. Maintain current BLS, PCT, and de-escalation training certification. Demonstrate competence in patient safety protocols, including physical restraint and monitoring. Prior experience with adult psychiatric populations, including diagnoses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with availability for float duties.
