Safety Coordinator Location: Salinas, CA, and Satellites Reports to: Safety Manager $24.00 - $29.50.00 – Full Time Summary: Assists Safety Manager in coordinating and implementing Safety programs to prevent, reduce and eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. To train and present safety processes, protocols and requirements. To be the leader of the Safety Committee. Job Description:
Identifies by daily walks/audits and appraises any conditions that could produce accidents and financial Enforces our accident prevention and loss control systems and programs Assist in the implementation of safety activities with department managers to ensure a safe plant which can include leading inspections and training sessions.
Job Requirements:
Commitment to safety and must be able to identify safety improvement opportunities Excellent verbal and written communication skills: General ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form Demonstrate organizational skills Demonstrate ability to excel with minimal supervision
