divh2Caregiver Position At Artis Senior Living/h2pStarting pay is $20 per hour! Full-time shifts available on 1st shift (7am-3pm), and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm! Every other weekend is required!/ppThe Caregiver will provide assistance with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimers/Dementia. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations, document and report care provided, and transport residents to various functions or locations. We are proud to be a Great Place to Work Certified company./ppstrongThe Caregiver will:/strong/pulliAssist with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, etc./liliAssist with personal and household chores, such as tidying up room, errands, delivering mail and/or newspapers./liliTransport residents within the community to meals, enrichment activities, and other programs as needed./liliEnsure resident care plans are reviewed and followed consistently./liliObserve and monitor residents for behavioral changes and/or adverse reactions to medications or treatment plans. Communicate any changes to clinical staff immediately, as well as document changes thoroughly./liliRespond to emergency calls, resident/visitors requests and correct environment hazards in a timely, appropriate and safe manner./liliObserve community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service./liliMaintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times./liliAdhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all community residents./liliPerform all other duties as requested./li/ulpstrongEducation Requirements:/strong/pulliMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent./liliCNA certification is required./liliFulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state./liliMust be willing to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification./li/ul/div
