Pediatric CNA/PCT - Day Shift This is a 12-week contract position. 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with every other weekend required. We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team for the day shift. The ideal candidate will provide essential care to pediatric patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities:
Assist patients with basic activities of daily living (ADLs) including transfers, bathing, turning, and hygiene. Measure and record vital signs, and monitor patients' conditions. Provide post-surgical care and support for patients undergoing intensive physical and occupational therapy. Support patients with tracheostomies, G-tubes, and other medical needs. Utilize appropriate lifting equipment (e.g., Hoyer lift) for patient transfers. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric and acute care experience. Active Maryland CNA license required. BLS certification required. Experience with special needs patients including those with TBI, SCI, and other complex medical conditions preferred.
