Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital or comparable acute care setting. Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT certification or ARRT certification with CT registry eligibility. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and following contrast administration protocols. Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and routine post-processing techniques. Ability to work nights and manage high-volume trauma and emergency cases.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a level II or level I trauma center or busy emergency department. Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Familiarity with PACS, radiology information systems (RIS), and electronic health record documentation.
Assignment Details
Shift hours: 1900-0700. Night shift schedule as assigned, including weekend coverage per department needs. Candidates should be prepared to support trauma and emergency imaging demands during overnight hours.

Impacting Patient Care As a CT technologist on assignment, you will contribute directly to timely diagnosis and treatment by producing high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety. You will support multidisciplinary care teams and follow established protocols to maintain imaging standards and reduce repeat exams. Your role will improve patient flow in emergency and inpatient settings. Location Highlights Berwyn, IL is a convenient suburban location near downtown Chicago and area attractions. It is approximately 10 miles west of downtown Chicago and offers easy access to the CTA and Metra commuter rail lines for regional transit. The area is near the historic Berwyn Arts District and less than 20 miles from Lake Michigan shoreline and Chicago cultural institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago. Local parks include Brookfield Zoo within a 10–15 minute drive and multiple forest preserves for outdoor recreation.
