ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES All essential functions should be reviewed with the Director of Nursing upon completion of the 90 day probationary period and no less than annually thereafter to evaluate performance and establish new goals if results are not meeting expectations.
Possess, maintain, and use a practical knowledge base regarding issues and regulations affecting the medication administration, campus and the Nursing department as well as the individual residents/tenants.
Provide comprehensive care to residents/tenants as outlined in the Certified Nurse Aide job description. Complete cares thoroughly and in a timely manner. Follow specific instructions given in shift report, work assignments, work schedules, and/or as directed the supervisor and ask for clarification regarding procedures as needed. This assistance may be to varying degrees and with or without assistive devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of a state approved Nurses Assistant and Medication Aide course and certified by the State of Nebraska.
Must be on the state Nursing Assistant Registry and Medication Aide registry.
