Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, tailoring individualized treatment plans to fit their unique needs. Implement effective physical therapy modalities that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Work in alignment with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise regimens. Document all evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to guarantee cohesive care delivery. Education
A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable credential from an accredited institution is required. Certifications
Must hold state licensure as a PT. CPR certification is preferred. Additional certifications in specialties (e.g. neurological, geriatric) are valued but not mandatory. Skills
Prior experience is greatly encouraged. Ability to cater to patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation software is required. Benefits
