Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, recommending diagnostic procedures, and tailoring care plans to individual needs Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or alongside a supervising physician as appropriate Educating patients and their families on wellness strategies, preventative measures, and management of chronic conditions Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic care to improve patient outcomes Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, comprehensive care Maintaining thorough and precise documentation within electronic health records (EHR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Certification Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) What Makes You Stand Out
