Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment strategies that aim at meeting both immediate and longstanding cognitive, communication, and swallowing objectives. Provide focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities. Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical providers, caregivers, and families to create cohesive care plans. Offer educational resources for patients and families to support therapeutic progress beyond the clinical environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout the therapy journey. Keep precise and timely documentation according to the standards set by state, federal, and organizational protocols. Stay informed about the latest advancements through continuous learning and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet attained. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred attainment of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of hiring. Skills
