Acupuncturist - Health Care - New York We are seeking a dedicated Acupuncturist to join our team in an assisted living setting. This per-diem role offers a supportive environment with mentoring and training opportunities, ensuring a positive work culture. We value great communication and simple, efficient documentation. Qualifications:
Valid professional license and registration for the state of NY. Must be a healthcare provider with recognized insurances such as VNS, UnitedHealthCare, Elderplan, Riverspring, HealthFirst, Fidelis, Wellcare, etc. Able to speak Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese
Responsibilities:
Complete evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, re-certifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner, adhering to CMS guidelines. Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals, determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician. Supervise assistants as requested by the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR). Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care. Adhere to scheduled hours and maintain professionalism at all times.
Benefits & Schedule: Enjoy a flexible schedule where you can choose your own hours. Shifts are available for day, evening, Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed. License/Certification:
Acupuncturist License (Required)
Salary: $200 hourly. Benefits can be up to $1000 per hour.
