Integration Solutions Specialist
Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions that align with architectural standards and business requirements. Analyze workflows to identify optimization opportunities, recommend interoperability improvements, and ensure seamless system connectivity. Develop and execute integrated testing strategies, including detailed test plans and defect management, to validate functionality and readiness for deployment. Establish and update best practices for integration design and documentation, ensuring scalability, compliance, and accessibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, operations, finance, and business units—to resolve operational issues, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and prevent recurrence. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive timely resolutions and maintain organizational standards. Establish and update best practices for integration design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with organizational standards. Coordinate integrated testing strategies that validate system functionality. Develops detailed test plans outlining objectives, scope, test cases, and success criteria. Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions that align with architectural standards and business requirements Analyze workflows to identify optimization opportunities, recommend interoperability improvements, and ensure seamless system connectivity. Conduct comprehensive analysis with the application teams to review existing workflows for new optimization efforts. Develop actionable recommendations to enhance interoperability, including standardizing protocols and aligning workflows. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 5 years Related work experience Large Hospital/IDN Information Technology Experience and/or Healthcare Operations Experience EPIC Application Certification plus one additional Primary or Secondary EPIC Certification Large Project Management Integrated Systems Architecture Planning, Development and Implementation Technical Collaboration (e.g. Interfaces, Hardware and Reporting) Coaching and Mentoring Triaging On-call/DR/BC Budget management EPIC Certification - Epic Systems Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare or related field Master's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare or related field 4 years Direct Epic build on current software version or 7 years Progressive experience in Information Services, or a combination blend of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.
