Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing) Guide patients and families on health maintenance, wellness practices, and disease prevention Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within your licensed scope Engage in patient follow-ups and ongoing chronic care management Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Ensure meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Education and Credentials Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) What Makes You Stand Out
