Conduct individualized speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical personnel, caregivers, and families to develop unified treatment strategies. Provide education to patients and their families to ensure support and progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and treatments, ensuring consistent care across the patient's journey. Maintain diligent documentation that aligns with regulatory requirements. Engage in continuous professional development through education and teamwork. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Licenses/Certifications
Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is a plus. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment. Key Skills
