Registered Nurse - Telemetry Location: Wilson, NC Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Shifts available: 7A or 7P, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours required (every other or every third weekend). Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. This role requires critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret EKGs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing admissions and discharges, as well as basic cardiac drip knowledge. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities:
Monitor and care for patients in the telemetry unit. Provide EKG interpretation and critical care as necessary. Manage discharges and admissions, ensuring continuity of care. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications required. A minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience is preferred.
