Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering appropriate diagnostic examinations, and establishing individualized treatment plans Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health issues, collaborating with physicians or practicing autonomously as per your credentials Instructing patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and disease management strategies Prescribing medications and implementing therapies within your legal scope Participating in follow-up care and comprehensive chronic condition management Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee continuous, integrated care Meticulously documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications & Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Licenses
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days) Distinct Skills That Shine
