Must-Have: - Experience with PCIs, peripherals, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters. - Ability to help train new staff. - Knowledge of balloon pumps. - STEMI experience is a plus.
Description: Currently, there is one cath lab, with plans to expand to two. The number of cases per day varies from 0 to 5-6. Certifications required include ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy. The charting system in use is Cerner, among others. Cath Lab Technologists will scrub in as needed, but no on-call is currently required. Registered Nurses are responsible for circulating, while scrubbing is not a requirement. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments that are shorter. All staff must have the ability and knowledge to support the team effectively.
