Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies. Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns collaboratively with physicians or autonomously (as certified). Providing education on wellness, disease management, and prevention for patients and families. Prescribing medications and treatments as permitted within your practice scope. Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and overseeing chronic care. Teaming up with diverse healthcare professionals to guarantee comprehensive and seamless patient care. Accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Education Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days). Qualities That Make You Stand Out
