Produce a variety of high-quality radiographs through proper positioning and technique Administer contrast media using proper technique and according to department policy Utilize assigned functions with the Radiology Information System to complete paperwork and to document contrast media reactions Utilize the hospital computer system to enter radiology and laboratory orders, charges, and/or credits Review patient's chart for confirmation of physician's orders and follows written and/or verbal protocols and instructions Follow department, NRG, and State policies and regulations for radiation safety to keep exposure ALARA Educate the patient, and family when necessary, regarding the exam, treatment, and outcome Performing visual preventative safety inspections and report dangerous department or equipment conditions to the appropriate personnel Communicate equipment malfunctions and low inventory levels to appropriate supervisor Performing procedures as the schedule requires and rotate call Performing other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Reports to: The Operations Manager, though may also receive work from Radiologists, the Administrative Director of Radiology, and the Senior and Clinical Leads Supervises: None Responsibilities: N/A

Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology Experience: Previous experience as a registered technologist is preferred, but will accept a new graduate
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Applicants must be ARRT registered or registry eligible; applicants who are registry eligible must be registered within three months of employment. Must be BLS certified.
