Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, order necessary tests, and develop tailored care strategies Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently (as credentialed) Educate patients and families on health maintenance, wellness strategies, and disease management Prescribe medication and treatments aligned with your area of practice Engage in patient follow-up and oversee chronic care management Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive and holistic patient care Maintain accurate and thorough records in electronic medical systems (EMR) Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications You Need
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Colorado National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Key Skills You Bring
