Overview Route Sales Representative at Frito‑Lay earns a target salary of $80,000 per year. This role involves traveling by Frito‑Lay truck to local stores—gas stations, dollar stores, and grocery stores—to unload, merchandise, and sell the company's full line of products, including Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and more. This position offers the opportunity to grow within Frito‑Lay or its parent company, PepsiCo.
Schedule Work schedule is variable week‑to‑week with early‑morning shifts and includes weekends and holidays. 24‑hour operations may require non‑typical hours, and all team members will be on their feet for the entirety of their shift.
Responsibilities
Learn the basics of the role in 4–6 weeks of dedicated driving and selling training.
Run routes for team members, experiencing different stores and meeting new customers.
Grow sales on the route by building relationships, selling in displays, and completing national initiatives.
Establish a route with set days off/schedule with time.
Work in a fun, fast‑paced, and physical environment.
Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance; ability to obtain other required licensure as mandated by state law.
Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
