We are a design and engineer firm in Corvallis seeking a Software Testing Intern. We provide security solutions for multiple industries deployed worldwide. The successful applicant will run systematic tests against our CyberAudit-Web software product to help us with quality assurance.
*Position Summary:*
A temporary software testing position is available for a 60 day period. The job entails
1. Exercising and testing the full range of functionality of our CyberLock software system including the use of CyberLocks, CyberKeys, FlashLocks and communicators as well as other products
2. Performing user acceptance testing for new system integration features with an emphasis on security, scale, and bug detection
3. Assisting in documentation of test procedures
The ideal candidate brings education and knowledge about good user interface design and product documentation with knowledge and intuition about boundary testing, and common user errors. The candidate must be disciplined and thorough in all aspects of testing and issue reporting. That discipline and thorough approach must extend to re-testing when fixes are submitted.
Knowledge about Genetec Security Center software is desireable.
Knowledge and experience about running test cases and HDI is desireable.
A candidate seeking an internship would be strongly considered. The position hours of work are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday at Videx, Inc. in Corvallis Oregon
