Your Role in Shaping a Healthier Tomorrow
Conduct assessments on patients across all age groups, employing standardized tests and observational methods. Create individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and enduring needs in communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities. Deliver focused speech therapy to help improve communication skills, language development, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing functions. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families for coordinated care. Educate patients and their families to empower progress beyond the clinic. Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring comprehensive care continuity. Keep thorough and timely records that comply with all regulatory guidelines and organizational standards. Stay informed about the latest developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Qualifications That Champion Change
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA is yet to be achieved. Required Credentials
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferably, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Skills for Success
