Job Responsibilities
Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them accomplish their functional objectives Implement Proven Therapies: Employ research-supported methodologies to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and skills for daily living Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, and medical staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated healthcare Guide Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and caregivers, ensuring continued progress beyond the clinic Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical data and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, keeping patients on a successful path Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Licenses and Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required Essential Skills
