Schedule 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities and serves as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves. Adheres to compliance expectations as set in the organizational Code of Conduct, including confidentiality. ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient discharge within an established length of stay. Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner in accordance with clinic policies and procedures. Participate in the student program, providing supervision and evaluations. Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue professional growth through continuing education. Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Engage with performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification.
