Supporting surgical procedures by efficiently preparing and organizing the operating theater Upholding sterile conditions and adhering strictly to infection control measures Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants as needed Preparing and handling surgical equipment effectively before, during, and after operations Keeping track of inventory and ensuring all supplies are ready for each procedure Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintaining precise surgical counts and documentation throughout procedures Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Certifications Needed:
Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of start date) Key Skills and Attributes:
