Physical Therapist Job Category: Physical Therapy - PT.PTA Requisition Number: PHYSI002405 Full-Time On-site Henderson, KY 42420, USA Job Details Description Physical Therapist (Pediatrics + Inpatient) – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Henderson, KY Are you a Physical Therapist looking for a role that combines pediatric care with hospital-based inpatient experience in a dynamic, team-focused environment? We have a unique full-time opportunity at Deaconess Henderson that combines pediatric outpatient care with acute/inpatient rehabilitation services. This role allows you to treat a diverse patient population while expanding your clinical skillset across settings — all within a supportive, collaborative team. This position offers a split between Pediatric and Inpatient care, providing variety in your day and the opportunity to grow across multiple areas of practice. Experienced PTs and new graduates are encouraged to apply! What makes this role unique?

What will you be doing in this role?
Pediatric Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients Provide family-centered care and caregiver education Support developmental progress across a variety of diagnoses Opportunities to assist with NICU and developmental care
Inpatient Responsibilities:
Provide acute care rehabilitation services in a hospital setting Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility and functional outcomes Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
General Responsibilities:
Review patient information and adjust treatment plans as needed Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) Outpatient physical therapy experience The ability to stand or sit throughout the entire assigned shift, and walk for extended periods A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision Be able to maintain confidentiality Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
