Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with care plans, clinical protocols, and applicable regulations. Monitor patient conditions, document assessments, and report changes to the appropriate clinical team members. Administer medications and treatments as authorized and within scope of practice. Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and ongoing patient education. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe and effective care. Support infection control, safety, and quality improvement practices. Provide emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families.
Qualifications
Current and active nursing licensure in good standing. Experience in a clinical, long-term care, hospital, or similar healthcare setting preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
