Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft customized treatment plans Deliver physical therapy interventions concentrating on mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes Instruct patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise regimens Document patient evaluations, treatments, and advancements in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless care Education
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
Prior experience is strongly preferred Capable of treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation platforms Benefits
