Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, either in conjunction with physicians or independently, based on your certifications Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, health maintenance, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapies within the realm of your professional practice Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive care Maintaining meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) What You Bring
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or a willingness to obtain these within 90 days Unique Qualities You Possess
