This program includes 100% of tuition covered (up to $15k annually for undergraduate and $25k annually for graduate) and student loan repayment ! #sponsored Qualifications EDUCATION: HS Diploma/GED, graduate of an approved C.N.A program, and valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in California EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year experience as a certified nursing assistant is preferred, but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license. ADDITIONAL CLEARANCES:
Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
Ability to pass a thorough background screening process and livescan fingerprinting
Drug screen clearance
Medical and tuberculosis skin test clearance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to administer CPR and first aid. Ability to properly restrain adult client. Ability to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu. Must be free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or other chemical substances or controlled substances Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
