Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Join Our Dynamic Care Team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and residents. Up to $45 an hour with weekly pay. About the Position: As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will also participate in clinical program development and implementation, and contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process. Our PTA team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and customer service to our patients and their families. Responsibilities:
Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist Participate in clinical program development and implementation Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program CEU's per state licensure requirements Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required Prior clinical experience preferred but not required New graduates welcome!
