Duration: 12+ Months Salary Range: $70-80/hr Competitive and commensurate with experience Introduction We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, integrating, and documenting structural requirements to establish system designs. The successful candidate will work with various engineering groups to verify structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element models throughout the product lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with Aerospace Structural hardware and Finite Element Method (FEM). Excellent strength report writing skills. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including NASTRAN. Some experience with launch vehicle structures. Prior work experience in the aerospace industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Fracture Mechanics and Damage Tolerance analysis. Significant experience with launch vehicle structures. Experience with structural design tools such as CATIA, Creo, or NX CAD. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Conduct strength analysis including interpretation of vehicle loads and environments, stress calculations, and development of margins of safety with known allowables. Ensure observance of program standards and requirements to maintain structural integrity, and document stress reports. Support and confirm fracture assessments for service life requirements.
