Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and ability to perform daily tasks. Engagement with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and integrated care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families on therapeutic methods to encourage ongoing improvement at home. Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patients stay on track. Educational Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Continuing education or post-graduate credentials are encouraged and supported. Certification Requirements
Active registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. Required NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification. Skills Required
