Providing comprehensive diagnosis, management, and treatment of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related disorders Interpreting pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies Performing and interpreting bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (as applicable) Participating in inpatient consults and/or ICU coverage (based on site-specific needs) Collaborating with critical care, thoracic surgery, radiology, and oncology teams Documenting care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic medical records (EMR) Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students (at academic sites) Participating in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives
