Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health concerns either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on your credentials) Guiding patients and families in areas of prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribing appropriate treatments and medications within your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to foster comprehensive care Maintaining complete and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Credentials Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days) Distinct Skills
