Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies Identifying and treating acute, episodic, and chronic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with physicians Offering education to patients and their families regarding wellness, preventative measures, and management of conditions Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice Managing patient follow-ups and ongoing care plans for chronic conditions Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care Meticulously documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications and Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or other equivalent specialty Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or a commitment to obtain these within 90 days) Key Competencies
Ultimately caring with a strong clinical sense and sensitive bedside approach Exceptional communication abilities with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals Capacity to adapt in fast-paced, patient-focused settings Comfortable using EMR systems and proficient in telehealth technologies A collaborative attitude and dedication to evidence-based methodologies Why You'll Be Passionate About This Position
