Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and constructing individualized care strategies Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues either independently or in partnership with physicians, adhering to your credentialing Providing educational support to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management Administering prescriptions and therapeutic interventions in line with your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee holistic patient care Meticulously documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Qualifications That Make You Shine
