Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy approaches that help individuals achieve their everyday goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to enhance patients' motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care. Educate Patients and Families: Share essential therapy strategies with patients and caregivers to encourage ongoing development and autonomy at home. Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient advancements and modify treatment plans to ensure effective care delivery. Education
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is encouraged and supported Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required Skills
