Facilitating surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room effectively Upholding sterile fields and strictly following infection control standards Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical teams Managing and preparing surgical equipment throughout each procedure Overseeing supplies and ensuring all essential items are ready for each operation Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal care Maintaining precise surgical counts and accurate documentation Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Certifications Needed:
Valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or capability to obtain within 90 days of your start date) Key Skills and Attributes:
