Assess patients across all age groups using comprehensive evaluation tools and observational strategies. Create individualized therapy plans that cater to immediate and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy focusing on vocalization, speech clarity, fluency, and swallowing techniques. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to develop integrated care approaches. Educate patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure continuity of care. Keep precise and timely records in accordance with healthcare regulations. Engage in continuous learning to stay on top of innovations in speech pathology. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already certified by ASHA. Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills
Expertise in evidence-based practices for all demographics, with an in-depth understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
