Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using standardized assessments alongside observational methods. Create individualized treatment plans that cater to immediate goals as well as ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver tailored one-on-one therapy sessions that address speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to craft integrated care approaches. Provide essential education for patients and families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Assist with sporadic inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless care experience. Keep record of patient information and progress with accurate documentation per state, federal, and organizational standards. Remain informed on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and teamwork. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire is mandatory. Skills
