Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing tailored treatment plans Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with healthcare providers or independently, as per your qualifications Informing patients and families about preventive measures, wellness practices, and effective disease management strategies Prescribing medications and treatments that align with your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care Keeping detailed and precise electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Credentials
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or suitable equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days) Essential Skills
