Requirements Experience & Background
35+ years of industrial or welding-related sales experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas Experience working with welding/compressed gas or industrial distribution channels Strong understanding of welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, plasma, oxy/fuel) preferred Ability to develop and execute account strategies that drive measurable results
Compensation & Structure
Base salary plus performance-driven incentive tied to territory growth Earnings potential aligned with share gain, new account development, and revenue expansion High performers will have the opportunity to exceed six-figure total compensation
Key Performance Indicators
Revenue and territory growth vs. quota New account acquisition and competitive conversions Account penetration and consumable attachment rates Pipeline development and opportunity closure Effective expense and territory management
Work Environment & Requirements
Home-office-based role with 5070% travel Regular in-field activity including distributor visits, demonstrations, and trade events Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and perform hands-on product demonstrations Strong organizational and CRM discipline required
