The OTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing encouragement and support to patients as they work towards their goals./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssist patients with exercises and activities designed to improve their daily living and working skills./liliImplement therapy programs as outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist./liliMonitor and record patients progress, reporting any changes or concerns./liliEducate patients and their families on home-based exercises and strategies for independence./liliMaintain a safe and organized therapy environment, including sanitizing equipment./liliProvide emotional support and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey./liliCollaborate with healthcare teams to deliver cohesive and effective care./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliAssociate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program./liliValid state license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant./liliKnowledge of occupational therapy techniques, tools, and equipment./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team./liliPatience, empathy, and a passion for helping others regain independence./li/ulh3How to Apply/h3pApply by submitting your most recent resume to MedicalDivision@advtemp.com and please note the Job Reference # in the title of the email.
